Our award-winning design firm, led by Eliane Cherman, strives to deeply understand our clients' styles and lifestyles to bring their dream homes to life. She collaborates closely with them and incorporates cherished items from their travels and collections into their new homes. She skillfully integrates new pieces into their existing furniture and décor to fit within their budget, prioritizing both form and function. Our Process
To get in touch with us, you can either complete our contact form or send an email to DesignbyEliane@gmail.com, providing additional information about your project. We will then send you a comprehensive questionnaire to understand your project's scope, budget, location, style, and timeline. This first phase is about getting to know you, your lifestyle and your space. This is when your goals, ideas, inspiration and concepts are established with your designer. Clients often share their inspiration from a Pinterest or Houzz board and even magazine clippings. All of these can be helpful for the design team to get an idea of your aesthetic. Once we receive your responses, we will schedule a phone call and a free in-home consultation to further discuss your project requirements, personal style, and budget.
Design introduction
Eliane will meet with the client to discuss their needs, style preferences, budget, and timeline. She might also take measurements and photos of the space.
Research and conceptual design
The designer creates a concept for the space based on the client's input and their own design expertise. This may include creating mood boards, sketches, or 3D models to help the client visualize the proposed design.
Presentation and changes
During this step of the process, the design concept takes shape as we consider any changes, omissions, or additions to elements based on your personal preferences. Our thoughtful collaboration on all elements ensures that your personality is infused into the design, creating a unique design identity that's truly yours.
Execution
Once the plans are approved, the designer oversees the implementation of the design. This may involve working with contractors, selecting furniture and décor, and coordinating with other professionals involved in the project.
The Little Things
After every install, there’s always a couple of little things that will need to be addressed. While we always try to have everything buttoned up, there may be some things here and there that need to be attended to afterwards. We like to schedule a walk-through with you two days after the installation to identify and address any issues together. This could include preferences for different light bulb temperatures in certain rooms or adjustments to décor items used on bookshelves. Our goal is to promptly and efficiently make sure we take care of it quickly and efficiently so we’re out of your way and you can start enjoying your new home!
